Hamid K. Rasti, MD

I am a specialist in internal medicine, primary care, and hospital medicine. I believe practicing medicine is much more than just applying one’s knowledge to treat medical conditions. It’s about using one’s knowledge to help improve a patient’s well-being and quality of life.

For me, the most successful physicians are the ones who apply the ‘art’ of medicine in treating patients. What does the ‘art’ of medicine mean in the 21st century? It means applying all the subtle lessons doctors learn over their careers about the human body and health. Just like an artist, doctors grow as we receive feedback from our audience (which are our patients). We learn what to adapt and adopt, what to rinse and repeat, and what to throw away.
Over the years, I have adopted a personalized team approach to medical care which allows me to spend quality time with my patients helping them to learn about their bodies and disease prevention. This patient-doctor partnership and individualized approach have led to a greater sense of well-being for my patients and an easier time achieving their goals.

As a local physician serving the greater Miami Dade and Broward County area, I have been caring for patients for over 14 years. My outpatient experience runs the full range. I have experience treating complex chronic conditions in all age groups as well as healthy adolescents and adults. I focus on helping every patient reach their fullest wellness potential no matter the state of their health.

Concurrently, I have been providing services to thousands of critically ill hospital patients. My career path has exposed me to a variety of conditions not otherwise possible by outpatient or inpatient care alone.

Over the years, I have developed a highly regarded specialist networks. Such relationships have been one of my greatest sources of success in achieving effective treatment outcomes.

Our location in South Florida gives easy access to residents of Key Biscayne, Coconut Grove, Brickell, downtown Miami, and South Beach, as well as many areas in Miami-Dade County
